Vicky Freeman
Vicky is a passionate mental health occupational therapist, who believes
in seeing the whole person—beyond the challenges they
face—by honouring their unique story and values.
Her career started in South Africa and now has brought her to
Perth, Australia. Across the seas, she has been given the
privilege of watching people rediscover their strength, rebuild
their sense of self, and reconnect with what brings meaning to
their lives.
Her approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and
collaboration. She meets clients where they are at, creating a safe,
supportive space where healing and growth can truly begin.
Drawing from a blend of evidence-based practices, including a
variety of models but Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) a firm
favourite, she offers a client-centred approach tailored to each
individual’s needs. Vicky takes pride in helping clients navigate the
complexities of mental health with practical tools and emotional
resilience, while fostering an environment where they can
reconnect with their strengths and aspirations.
In her work, she emphasises a holistic approach, acknowledging the
mind-body connection and the importance of nurturing both. She
holds space for what her clients value most, empowering them to
achieve balance, purpose, and meaningful change. Whether it’s
overcoming obstacles, building coping skills, or simply
rediscovering self-worth, she is here to walk alongside you on
your journey to wellness.
Together, we will explore new possibilities and create a path
forward that feels right for you.
