Dr. Venkatesh Raju Vempalli 

Dr Venkatesh Raju Vempalli is an experienced psychiatrist with specialist expertise in the assessment and management of anxiety, depression, OCD, stress and trauma related disorders, bipolar disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders as well as neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. He works with children, adolescents, and adults, offering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

 

Dr Vempalli completed Psychiatry training and then advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh — one of India’s leading national institutes of excellence before moving to Australia to complete further training to become the Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

 

Having trained and worked across different cultural settings, Dr Vempalli has expertise in culturally sensitive practices supporting individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. His clinical experience across young and adult populations allows him to bring a developmental perspective and early intervention principles into practice.

 

Dr Vempalli adopts a calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach, creating a safe and supportive environment for his patients. His style of care integrates medication management, psychological intervention and collaborative planning to promote meaningful, and sustainable recovery.
